Chicago Bears 2010 Draft Preview

Football Betting Lines

04/01/2010 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Unless something unforeseen happens, the Bears will be the final team on the clock when they're finally set to select with the 12th pick of the third-round. Chicago's first-round pick went to Denver in the Jay Cutler trade, and its second-rounder went to Tampa Bay in the trade that brought the since-deceased Gaines Adams to town in the middle of last season. Thus, it will be a stretch for GM Jerry Angelo and head coach Lovie Smith to find any immediate impact players in this Draft. That's a shame, because the Bears still need them. The secondary remains a mess, there is a dearth of talent on the offensive line, and it's a major question whether any of the team's current receivers can thrive in new coordinator Mike Martz's offense. Chicago's best route for finding an impact player could be to deal now out-of-place tight end Greg Olsen, though few GM's would be willing to spend a second-round pick on him.
