NCAA Basketball Betting Lines

01/09/2010 - Tempe, AZ (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Rihards Kuksiks had 27 points and nine rebounds as Arizona State downed No. 24 Washington, 68-51, in a Pac-10 battle at Wells- Fargo Arena.

Ty Abbott had 17 points while Trent Lockett donated 11 points for the Sun Devils (11-5, 1-2 Pac-10), who snapped a two-game slide.

Isaiah Thomas had 20 points and five rebounds and Elston Turner had 10 points for the Huskies (10-4, 1-2), who have dropped their past two games.

After Kuksiks buried a three-ball to give Arizona State a 6-2 lead a bit over three minutes in, neither side scored for the next four minutes until Tyreese Breshers put in a layup for Washington.

The Sun Devils continued to lead through the first half and five straight free throws gave the team a 22-11 lead after Abbott put in two from the line with under five minutes to play.

Lockett hit two free throws late in the half for the final points of the first 20 minutes to give Arizona State a 28-19 lead heading into the break.

Early in the second half, Kuksiks hit consecutive three balls and then a slam to give the Sun Devils a 36-21 lead early.

From there Arizona State maintained its double-digit lead and held a 57-39 advantage on a pair of Derek Glasser free throws with a little over six minutes to play.

Venoy Overton's layup with 2 1/2 minutes to play cut Washington's deficit to 12 points, but the team was unable to get any closer as the Sun Devils held on for the win.

As cup crazy fans prepare to place their bets, one online sportsbook ,MySportsbook.com, is offering hockey betting lines on the 2007/2007 Stanley Cup , who will bring it home this upcoming season.

Despite a poor showing in last season's playoffs and the loss of Steve Yzerman to retirement, the Detroit Red Wings are early favourites at this online sportsbook with wagering odds of 6-1. The Wings will look to offensive powerhouse Pavel Datsyuk and newly appointed captain Nicklas Lidstrom to lead one of the league's most prominent franchises.

Always a threat are the Ottawa Senators, with newly acquired goaltender Martin Gerber from the Stanley Cup champion ,Carolina Hurricanes. Also worth noting are the defending Stanley Cup champs Carolina Hurricanes, a 10-1 bet to repeat. Behind the Canes are the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, Philadelphia Flyers, and Anaheim Mighty Ducks all sit at 12-1.
